
Pear and chocolate energy balls
Ingredients
2 halves of Del Monte pear halves (or 107 ml Del Monte diced pears in water)
437.5 ml (1 3/4 cup) quick cooking oats
187.5 ml (3/4 cup) Medjool dates, pitted
125 ml (1/2 cup) walnuts
62.5 ml (1/4 cup) almond butter
30 ml (2 tbsp) cocoa powder
30 ml (2 tbsp) agave syrup
30 ml (2 tbsp) ground chia seeds
2.5 ml (1/2 tsp) vanilla extract
1 pinch of salt
Preparation
1. In a food processor, grind all the ingredients until you get a sticky paste. It is normal and desired that some pear pieces remain. Form 12 to 14 balls.
The balls can be keeped for 2 weeks in the refrigerator and be frozen very well.
