Ingredients
2 cans (398g) @delmontecanada whole green beans, rinsed and drained
½ cup sliced almonds, toasted
5 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
3 tbsp unsalted butter
Juice of half a lemon
Salt and black pepper to taste
Preparation
To a frying pan, add butter and almonds. Sautee on medium heat until almonds turn a golden brown.
Remove almonds from the pan and set aside for later.
To the same frying pan, add green beans, salt and black pepper.
Cook beans until they have had a chance to heat thoroughly, about 5 minutes on medium high heat.
Once heated through, add lemon juice and almonds. Toss to ensure beans are coated evenly and all ingredients are mixed well.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
