Chocolate mandarins to customize
Ingredients
1 cup
Del Monte®
Mandarin Orange Segments (112.5 mL)
3 tbsp dark chocolate chips
1/2 tsp coconut oil
Garnish
Chopped almonds
Pumpkin seeds
Unsweetened grated coconut
Preparation
1. Drain the juice from the Mandarin Orange Segments cup. Place the segments on a cotton towel and blot gently. Reserve.
2. In a bowl, place the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Melt in the microwave for 10 seconds, stirring each time. After 30 seconds, the chocolate should be melted.
3. Place each mandarin orange segments in the chocolate and coat well. Place on a plate lined with parchment paper and garnish. Repeat this step for all other segments. Let stand in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
