Fruit protein granola bites
Ingredients
- 250 ml (1 cup) Del Monte fruit cocktail, drained
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) Maple syrup
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) tahini
- 5 ml (1 tsp) vanilla extract
- 200 g (2 cups) quick cooking oats
- 120 g (1 cup) spelt flakes
- 85 g (3/4 cup) almond flour
- 55 g (1/2 cup) pecans, roughly chopped
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) hemp seeds
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) shredded coconut
- 5 ml (1 tsp) ground cinnamon

Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 160°C (325°F) and lightly oil a baking sheet.
- In a food processor, grind the fruit, maple syrup, tahini and vanilla. Pour into a bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix.
- Distribute the mixture evenly on the baking sheet and cook in the center of the oven for 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Let cool completely.
Conservation
You can store these bites in an airtight container for several weeks at room temperature.
